Roast Asparagus

Roast Asparagus, originally uploaded by QuirkyCharm.

The asparagus at Trader Joe's has been fantastic lately (and less expensive than normal) so I've been making this every week. It's one of my absolute favorite side dishes both for its ease to make and delicious flavor.

Roast Asparagus
Trimmed Asparagus
Sea Salt/Freshly Ground Pepper
Olive Oil (I prefer the spice of Greek for this, but any would do nicely)

Preheat the oven to 365°F. Lay the asparagus in a single layer on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and roll to evenly coat. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper (to taste - I personally prefer a tiny amount of salt to a large amount of pepper). Roast for 18-20 minutes or until desired done-ness.
