Watercolors are a medium that has always held my interest. From the days of kindergarten mixing colors at random and creating a general mess (the watery texture fascinated me at that age) to today attempting to create actual images (though I still have a long way to go). I love the dreamy and ethereal qualities that watercolor paintings have. The sheer amount of different effects that can be achieved. Lately I've been particularly inspired with nature motifs. Are you a fan of watercolors? Any particular favorite artists in the medium?

My mug of water is running low so I think it might be time to head to the kitchen. Staying hydrated is definitely key in staying awake for me.
